    Question Oil filter housing

    What size wrench do I need to take off the oil filter housing for a oil change on a 2006 Rabbit?
    VA Rabbit_29
    2006 VW Rabbit
    2.5L, Auto, 4 door

    Can't you use a big crescent wrench? I haven't done an oil change as of yet, but looking into on of the DIY's it shows using a crescent.

    no idea how many flutes, thats just what i bought for mine, and i saw a DIY on using the same size.

    I used a pipe wrench at first and then got sick of swearing at it.
