Hi,
I have an automatic 09 Passat 2.0T. When accelerating at about 80 there's a weird hissing sound coming from the engine compartment. I've tried reproducing it in Neutral to see if it's related to the engine itself but at no rpm I could hear it. Any ideas what this might have to do with?
Second issue is even weirder. When fueling the car (especially in rainy weather or after I wash the car) even if the tank is empty the fuel pump pops (as if the tank is full) which makes fueling it a pain in the ass. Service replaced the tank, charcoal filter but could not find the source of the issue.
If you have any clue of why this might happen it would really help.
Thanks !
I thinks it be your Turbo that you hear at full boost. Nitro?
When all else fails, shoot someone.

The TSI makes an odd noise around 2500 rpm when accelerating. Almos tlike a hiss or loose marbles in a can. It's actually normal. There was another thread on here about that. As far as the fueling, most times a charcoal canister and fuel tank fixes it. I can only assume you have a problem with the fuel pump you are using.
