what's in your bud vase?

i know there's barely any of us here, lol, but i'm a bit of a bud vase nut so i'm going to share what's in mine. i change mine a LOT, especially for holidays.















also tend to decorate my rearview mirror.

the christmas tree? lol, yeah i love that. wish i had taken more pics, i had a fabulous christmas vase, big sparkly poinsettias. the new years one was this bunch of wires with big sequins all over them, it was totally blinding in the sun.

Very interesting! I recently purchased a 2000 New Beetle and I did not know what the 'vase' was for so I wound up placing a pencil like hand sanitizer spray bottle in the vase. Very handy!

not really, it's weird when nothing is in it. sometimes i go overboard and make the arrangement really big and it hits my hand, but i'm used to it, haha.

Just a clarification, when I said I did not know what the 'vase' was for, I find that I had NO vase just the vase insertion 'hole' into which I placed the pencil-like hand sanitizer, (knowing no better!) I will have to order a true 'vase' although I do not think I am the flower type like Kitty. I'll think of something to place into it.

there's all sorts of fun things to try. as you can see, i put a goofy pen in there for halloween. if you need a vase, try ebay. the stock clear plastic ones are super cheap, around a dollar or two, but there's also billet ones, or colored plastic like the milky blue one i have.

here's some updates, just changed to a memorial day one this weekend.

it's been a while, lots of updating to do. so we last left off with the memorial day stars, lol. in june my boyfriend and i went to disney for his birthday, i got my mom a minnie mouse antenna ball for her jetta but was bummed i don't have an antenna. then my smartypants matt says, "put it on a stick for your budvase." i love him. so here's my cupcake! i ended up using part of a long kitchen match, decapitated of course.



also picked up a minnie mouse pen...



however they do not survive in heat



also picked this up at disney, i found it appropriate



found these tomatoes at michael's and thought they were funny.



this went in for the fourth of july.



then some cute summer strawberries.



last picture i have, something more simple. while they appear yellow, they are in fact radioactive green.



for H2O matt said i needed a dinosaur, we found a foam one at michael's for like 30 cents, i put a stick in its butt and put it in with some flowers. don't think i took a picture. so sad, i had a couple good halloween ones i never got to use.

so, does anyone drive their bug in the SNOW?? I might put mine away for the winter... not sure yet. I go shopping and see another bug in the parkinglot and I HAVE to go up and peer inside to see what is in their bud vase!! I am addicted!!

Don't put your finger in an empty vase. It will get stuck and then you can't shift.
