RNS 510 SD card

Those of you with the RNS 510 have an sd card slot. Be sure to use a card no larger than 2GB....the radio will show an error code for the SD slot when really it's a size problem. Also, not every format music file will work. Download one song and try it before uploading a whole bunch. Same goes with pictures.

Somewhat Customer with a CC had a complaint about the sd card. When I searched for information, I found a Technical bulletin about it.

You mention pictures as well, and I have seen where people have uploaded pics as wall paper. Does this go for the the RCD510 as well?

I haven't really played around with setting a wallpaper. Not sure how you would go about doing it. As long as the file type is correct (not a photoshop file, for example) it should upload fine.

If you want tu use a SD card larger than 2gb you will have to reformat the higher gb card to a Fat32 file configuration. It's very simple to do on a home computer. GOOGLE has many sites showing the step by step procedure. Takes about 5 min.
