    Question Question about keyless entry

Currently, when pressing the unlock button once, unlocks the driver's door. Press it twice and unlocks the passenger doors.

Is there a way to change it so when pressing the unlock button once, it will unlock all 4 doors?

    Thanks!

With the SW or the wipper buttons, go in to Settings - Convenience - Door open

That is correct IF you have the convenience menu, if you're one of the many NA Tigs without it you can get your dealer to change it or find somebody with vag-com to do it for you.

It's a safety feature so that no one jumps in your car from the other side in a dark parking lot.

But yes, to enable it you're gonna need VAGCOM or a dealer with the balls to do it free and not charge $50.

    Question

I have a Tiguan S so I don't have the convenience menu. Can a VW Dealer change the settings so that I can open and close the windows from the remote?

I don't know for sure but I would have thought so. It seems some dealers are willing and others won't do a darn thing.

I have this issue too... i have a Tiguan S, and my dealer are telling me they can't and don't know how to do it... I felt as if they didn't bother to find the answer and I was just brushed off... I used to have a Ford a few years back and this was done by doing a conbination of turning headlights on/off with the key turned to the accessories... I wish we had this option!!!
