I cannot get the gas cap door to open. I have no power to the switch between the seats. The switch appears to be working correctly as does the locking mechanism in the trunk. Is this system connected through the electonic module ? Also my automatic door lock system is not working either. Are these connected ?
I am having problem with the electrics generally as the ABS and brake lights together with the oil light keep flashing and the tach does not work. I was told to disconnect the top of the electronic module beside the ABS unit, and when I did this, the oil light came on as well as teh tach and teh buzzer stopped its infuriating noise !
I have been reluctant to replace teh module due to cost and wonder whether anyone has any ideas.
My car has the V6 engine with 170,000 miles. Engine is great and uses no oil, and teh automatic works well. Other than these electrical propblems the car has given me great service.
