So then I don't need to go to the dealer to code the ipod to work with this radio. As what nitroscope said. Correct me if im wrong.

Wait, how do you get the AUX to work after the installation? Or does it not work period?

If you get the black on black radio with the MIX option you can use ipod and aux...
if you get the SAT option, no aux PERIOD, just ipod.

^^ it should be the exact same setup if you are just upgrading from the 1 CD head unit.

Thank you for your inquiry. I asked my parts specialist about whether or not the black knob radio was compatible with an auxiliary input and he confirmed that it would work. The main difference between the two units, is that one was satellite radio compatible, and one was not. Neither of them, however, include the satellite radio module. Let me know if you have any additional questions." if it doesnt work im gonna complain too
