I was looking to buy a 2009 rabbit 2 door, the only option I would be getting is the AUtomatic transmission.

Could you guys let me know what I should be looking at as far as a price so I can go an make an offer?

    Thanks,

    Steven

Invoice & Price Paid (Including Destination): $20,858 / $20000 OTD. about 5K down and 15K at 4.9% for 36 months.
    Location: Bay Area, CA, USA
    Model & Year: 2009 Rabbit
    Trim: 4 Door
    Color: Red/Anthracite
Options: 16" Magny Cours, iPod Adapter, Moonroof, Carpeted Mat Kit (They're Rabbit Mats instead of normal ones), remove Sirius Sat Radio

Good deal? Technically it's 858 under invoice, but I always feel everything is pretty sketchy at car dealerships.

EDIT: Sorry. I wrote down the invoice. MSRP is $21,113 it seems like.

Hmm, not sure if it's a good deal cause you have a lot of extras. I'm getting the basic of the basic automatic, no mats, wheels, or adapters (will get all that stuff later). Here's what I'm getting, Southern California:

    2 door White Rabbit Automatic
    MSRP (dest. included): $17,640 + tax/registration
    Dealer offer (dest included): $16,090 + tax/registration

I told another dealer about this offer and he said he'll match it and take off 10%. Assuming no shenanigans, that's $14,490 for a brand new 2009 automatic 2-door Rabbit! Adding sales tax and fees (straight from the DMV website) that's $15,865 OTD. Fingers crossed, hoping to get it in a week!

I just went on my Consumer Reports new car guide and priced your options. You DID get a good deal. You didn't outright steal the car, but you certainly didn't get gipped or hornswaggled (in other words, congrats!)
