1.6 injection pump air fuel ratio adjustment screw

The air fuel adjusting screw (at least that's what I think it is for) on the right side of the injection pump is messed up. I can screw it in and out of the injection pump, but the nut to tighten it against the pump is stuck (someone messed up the threads before I bought it). Unless there is anyway to get it fixed, I think am in need of a new (or at least working) one in order to get my rabbit up and running nicely. Can you buy those seperately from somewhere? I've been surfing the web and calling around and have not turned up anything. Does anyone have any idea? Thanks a lot!

I decided to cut the nut and collar of the screw to free it up. So now I'll re-thread it and put two nuts on it to tighten it down. So I have that figured out and don't need a new one now. However, I didn't mark where it was before I took it all apart. I've messed with different positions for a while now, but I can't figure out where exactly it's supposed to go, because the position of this screw determines the idle speed screw. Any ideas? Thanks!

I've been told "not to mess with" that screw, so I assume it is a critical adjustment. However, my guess would be turn it rich enough that you have power, but not so rich that you make a lot of smoke under takeoff conditions.

Just my guess, I've never done it. Hopefully a diesel tech will confirm or deny me on this.
