Is there an easier way to get to the blower motor than disassembling the dash in my 84 rabbit? It needs to be cleaned out I'm certain, it "runs" but barely. I think i MAY be able to get to it from the top on the engine compartment side, but im not sure.
If theres one thing I hate it's being turned upside down in a bind on the floorpan of a car HOPING the darned thing will come out and PRAYING that I didnt forget or pinch anything when it all goes back in!

Some you can get out via the rain tray, others you have to suck it up.

I know on my 81 conv. you can get to it through the engine bay under the wipers. Its relatively easy just fixed mine.

mine is under the rain tray as well. couple of bolts.
If your blower is under the rain tray do you have to remove the windshield wiper assembly to get the blower out? To me is seems like you have to. Any tricks to avoid doing this. Thanks
