    wtb: roof rack for '08 rabbit

    Looking for a roof rack for my '08 rabbit 2dr. preferably a thule.
    2008 Rabbit - 5spd, Sharan Antenna, Carbonio CAI, tint, full Thule roof rack.... nice.

    Glad to hear your getting a rack. New mine cost less then $200 for the base rack from REI durinng a 20% off Thule sale.

    i went to rack attack, and vw dealership, gonna cost 600-700 for everything

    Comes out to 428 as you see, but what the heck happened to the 20% off!? I go to thule rack up the same stuff and it's the same price!

    I'm just on a roll tonight..... Just had to add it to my cart, ha

    Rapid aero is over priced. I would not spend the money, but its up to you. I don't understand why base rack is costing so much.

    Rought estimate, off the top of my head:

    4 pack of towers: $150
    2 packs of clips: $60
    Pair of bars: $50

    Comes to $260, less 20% = $208

    Of course that is the base rack, no bike attachments, fairing, etc.

    I have half a thule rack.. the it's the aero400xt... got a load bar, the feet, pads, locks, and all that other stuff.. but only half of it. willing to sell. 70+shipping
