Morning all - new to the forum & new to the VW range. My wife is picking up her new Polo today - 5 door 1.2 Match. I noticed on the pre - inspection that there is a part stuck on the dashboard - done a bit of searching & it looks like its for the bluetooth - surely a brand new car should have it built into the radio - etc. Are the dealers misleading me or is it the norm - the courtesy car we was given ( because the bonnet was scratched on the Polo ) had bluetooth connection through the display.

Hi Everyone...

After weeks of researching the best compact SUV to seat two kids forward facing in their carseats and a 6'2 hubby who will occasionally drive it, I have become a proud owner of a 2013 Tiggy Comfortline today!

Tiguan by far has the most space to allow my four year old not to touch the front seat when her dad is driving it. I'm only 5'2, so I already give them enough space to even fit their stroller between us! :D:

Now I need to break-in the engine over the next few months before it starts to get cold. Any suggestions?

Thank you...

OK, it's been a while since I posted anything on here, but I haven't needed to. I have a 2008 Rabbit, 5 spd. Unfortunately now that I've had it for a while, adding 50k miles on it, I've run into my first real issue. Yesterday I was on my way home with the air on low to cool of the car with the windows down. When I rolled up the windows I found that the air wasn't actually running... :( I messed around with the knob and tried moving it around to different temperatures and speed settings. The only setting that works for me is 4 (high). Has anyone else had this issue and/or know what could be causing it?
I was thinking it could potentially be one of three things: 1)there is a fuse that is blown, 2)the knob has become faulty, or 3)the blower motor is going out on me.
Before I dig into it too far I wanted to see if anyone could lead me in the right direction.

To fix the damage, my general idea is to clean it, sand it, and put primer, and then paint. But not sure this is the right thing to do in this case.

I would love to get it fixed before the salt and snow on the road. Could anyone please advise? Not sure is it worth to take it to the shop.

Thanks guys!

I'd appreciate if you can help me figure out what's going on under my Tig. Last week I reached under it to grab a newspaper and notice there was a U shaped pipe at the bottom of the hose to the muffler that looks like it should be inserted into two orange nipples underneath the engine. I am don't know the proper terminology, so forgive me if I described this inaccurately. I've included pictures to make it clear.

I don't know much about cars, but this U shaped pipe looks like it should be inserted the orange nipples. Thoughts?

hi, I am new to this site. I have an 07 passat sport wagon. A couple of days ago A display appeared on my multifunctional display of the car with the hood illuminated. It's as if it is showing the hood is not latched but it is. ( tried to upload a pic.....no luck). Secondly, i have also noticed that when I activate the wind washer lever for the headlights and front window, nothing happens. There is plenty of washer fluid, but wipers don't even come on. The wipers will activate if I turn them on manually, but nothing happens when I attempt to wash/clean the front windshield. The rear washer and wiper works.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
