Looks sweet.
Is that a solar panel to keep the battery charged?

Yes, it is. It's a VW charger that came with all VWs a few years back. It keeps the battery up when in storage.
That is so freakin sweet!;)

MAN, but do I hate wiring !
The engine is working great now, so I decided it was time to set up the non-working gauges in the console and install 2 new ones. I also had no idea the Rabbit dash space was so limited. Just no room for more gauges, so into the console they go. While I was at it, the truck got new wiper arms, all new LEDs (blue inside and the appropriate colors outside) and some new clear corner lights. I also had to completely rewire the taillights (what kind of a company just twists 4 ground wires together without soldering them ??? ) as they quit about a week ago. I like the end results, but 2 days are goooooone.
Don't mind the dirty floor. It's clean now :blind:

Thanks. They are fun to drive and unique, which suits me fine. I have a diesel with about 150 horses and nearly 220 Ft lbs of torque, so it runs just fine....aaand...gives me about 60 mpg (Cdn)
