For those on the fence about purchasing a new rabbit, there is 0% APR available as of Feb 1 on '08s. Not sure if it applies to all VWs. Just picked up my 2dr, $3K down (from trade in), 0% APR for 48 months (also available for 36 mo., but why bother when it's 0%).

Yup, I was all set to buy at the end of January but thankfully the salesman mentioned I "may want to hold out until Feb 1".

Where is this 0% APR info at? It isn't reflected on vw's website.

The first (and only place) I heard about it was while at the dealer buying the car. The business manager there had a new printout of all the incentives, bonuses, etc for February.

Maybe it's a regional thing? I'm in the Chicago area. Probably best to call your dealer for concrete info.

I just emailed my salesman and he mentioned that the deals changed for the sign then drive lease special only. The lowest APR's are 2.9% according to the latest info he has which he said was for this month...

Bummer! Out of curiosity i asked the other nearbye vw dealer and they also have 0% APR. The woman I spoke to said it was associated with the autoshow comming to town so it must not be a nationwide deal. Sorry to raise a false alarm!
