im form arlington and i have a friend tha is going there next semester. in fact im going there next week.

I think most of us in the DFW area either living in Arlington GP area, or the Richardson/Plano/Allen McKinney 75 strech.... just from what I've noticed......

i drive a 2 dr black rabbit. dark windows and 16in alloys. i haven't seen any others like mine around here yet.

i stopped by Herb Easley to see about getting a service...i had actually bought mine in FW before i moved up here. the service department at HE gave me an uneasy feeling (some of the things they said made me decide to not to have it worked on there...ever).

anywho...

do you know of any other VW enthusiast around the area? i think it'd be fun to start up a little group. meet up and talk cars or what not

Nope, have only seen a handful 'round these parts. F-150s and Cobalts are king on this side of the Red River. Did you get a bad feeling from HE VW? I'm coming up to my 5k service and I've got some issues I need to address... (Rattles...:mad: )

They found and corrected all my issues and complaints, highly recommened dealer. Although they may be slow at times (especially when I took it in the 26th) they are really good.

Im not from WF, but i come up to Dallas, from Ft Hood, every now and then. Sage Green 4dr FTW!
Starting to see more and more GTIs and GLIs as well as yur normal dose of Jettas in the FT Hood area.

I'm in Wichita Falls too!! However, I THOUGHT I was the only 4dr Candy White here in town. Glad to see some other Wichitans too! This is my first post, and I couldn't resist posting when I saw my town!

I got my bunny at Lewisville VW. I've never been comfortable with Herb Easley's new car sales, although their service dept has been great!

Has anyone been to German Autokraft II in Iowa Park? What sort of business are they? Tuners, or just maintainence?

Another bunny in WF. I didn't think to look in the forum for a thread for WF. We used to have 2-3 GTI, 1 R32, 2 Bunnies (including mine), 2 Jetta (one MKIV Turboed), and a Passat here on base but half of them left. I see one pretty heavily modded GTI around from time to time, the Turbo Jetta is still here in my dorm and there is my bunny. I saw a CW bunny around town near the mall (SIKES) the other week and threw up a V.

I'm a 2dr UG with a Carbon Fiber hood and black mesh grille. Would love to get a meet going some time. Be a nice way to kill time a couple weekends a month.
