guten tag, everyone. i went right to the dealer and picked out my white 07 3dr two weeks ago at a local dealer. took it for a test drive and was hooked from the moment the engine started. i used to own a '67 beetle 'way back in the '70's, so i'm not new to veedubism, but i may have an addiction problem with the new rabbit...i find i'm constantly searching for aftermarket (and the OEM) parts sites. anyway, i've read a lot of the posts and i'm impressed by the sense of community here. i appreciate the friendly attitude displayed by the members, and i hope i can contribute from time to time as well as learn about others' issues and discoveries. :Ciao:

Lots of chrome, and the first production automatic transmission (at least that's what they told me). Big wide bench seats, very important to a teen in his dating years. ;) Ouch - and I forgot the '61 Corvair (but who wouldn't?).
