i changed my resovuoir or however you spell it lol, and i think there is a air pocket in there. is there a bleeder? i took the cap off and let it run and the air didnt come out and it overheats. Also i put straight coolant in it instead of 50/50, is that bad?? i live in arizona so its hot out

You must mix 50/50. If it overheats and you get no heat from the inside vents, then you have a blown water pump.

also the top hose gets hot and the bottom one stays cold. is the the thermostat or the coolant problem?

Could be ,thermostat. If the engine is hott and you have great heat but the lower hose is cold, its a thermostat. If the hose is cold and you have no heat, its bad pump.

diagnose your car correctly, don't throw parts at it.
