Hey all

Picked up a new 2012 Passat 2.5L SE earlier this week. Replaced a 2010 Toyota Corolla. The Corolla was a nice little car, but with a growing family, nowhere near big enough. This is our first VW and so far I am absolutely loving it.

Would the administrator please open up a B7 forum?

Congrats on the new purchase. The new Passat is supposed to be a superb car. Hopefully a mod will see this and tell the admin to open the new section.

I bought my Passat S w/ App in Dec from Corona VW and then a month later my Dad bought a Passat SE from the same place. Love the car! I think I have only seen 2 other drive around near me. Would be great to see more people with them. Would be cool to hangout with others.

about 2-3 months now...we have had our Passat...2.5 L gas...SE ...2012....
....NO REAL SERIOUS COMPLAINTS...JUST WHEN IT RAINS, THE RAIN IS NOISY HITTING THE ROOF
AND I CAN'T UNDERSTAND MY WIFE WHEN SHE CALLS ME WHILE SHE IS DRIVING...

SPORT MODE TRANS IS A GOOD FEATURE....
...ELECTRIC POWER STEERING IS NICE...NO TORQUE STEER ...( THOUGH VW DID THIS FOR BETTER FUEL ECONOMY)

...so far , so good...for the price...

I have came back to this site after a few years off. (Rabbit Owners Club) I was (and might still have the status of) a mod. I am now a new Passat owner, traded in my 07 Rabbit for a barely used (5800 miles) 2012 Passat SE. Glad to see Nitro is till around. I'll have some questions for that guy!
