Hello i traded in My Uber (07 Rabbit) for an 09 Tiguan...my question is i have 17 wheels 5x112 that came off a friends Golf/rabbit i know the tires are incorrect but when i installed the wheels on my tig, the space in the wheel well on the back side is close not touching but close like 3/8 inch close from tire to strut.. all the looking up rom tirerat-discount-bell tire show the same wheel and offset for both cars?? will these wheels work with new tire (correct size) or is there a different offset between the two vehicle and i just can't find the data???:(
