HELP HELP HELP

Since I bought the car I have been having issues with its driving, the car would cut out when stopping and taking corners, bunny hop when accelerating and going up hills but it got to the point where it wouldn't drive around the block without cutting out every few meters or jumping as I tried to make it go. After changing the fuel filter, air filter, spark plugs and leads, the distributor cap and rotatory arm the car has been running a lot better but still not brilliantly. I took it to the garage and they have told me its my distributor. The problem has now come when I've tried to get hold of the part as its become obsolete and no reproductions seem to match my part number!!!

I've tried online and at several car parts dealers but with no luck.

My part number is 026905206AC, 525500AE8, DUCELLIER, BREVETE S3D6

Another problem I have is that when I looked in the VW parts haynes manual it lists the part as Bosch as the Ducelliers are only on engines upto 1.6???
