Hi guys. I haven't visited the forum in a loooong time. I hope everyone is doing fine. I received a letter today from VW regarding the factory extending the automatic transmission warranty to 7 years/100,000 miles due to complaints they are receiving from others. Cars are model years 2003 to 2008. Apparently there is noise coming from the cover. Has anyone else here received their letter?

I just posted in another thread about this. but as I read it, its not anything pertaining to a noise exactly, but an actual hard shift from 1st to 2nd, and sometimes 2nd to 3rd.
