The fan for the cabin is making a noise like there is something in the fan. Is there a way to tell if something is broke without taking it out. And how do i check it out:blind:

Remove the cabin filter under the hood, passenger side. You can see the fan.

It was definatley time for a new cabin air filter

The one you took out had activated charcoal in there. The new one does not. The new one is for passat and yours needs the charcoal. Bring it back and get teh right filter.

So you have to get the new filter from the dealer then???:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
