can anyone give me some information on HID headlights? i got mine sand blasted and i've changed the bulbs, but they are still very dim. I figured it would give my car a little more personality as well.

So the headlights are sandblasted? If so you can get them buffed out. I do this all the time at work (roughly 200 times). Wet sand with 1000, 1500, and 2000 sand paper. Then use a buffer at about 2500 rpm and buff them clear.

yes i've already had them buffed, but they still seem dim. and i like that look that a car with smoke tinted HID headlights has.

So wait... you tinted your headlights and you're complaining about visibility?

You need new headlights. You need a projector type lens as the one you have now is reflector. HID's will just blind people and scatter the light everywhere making it difficult to see the road. A good reflector type headlight which is meant for an HID setup is ideal for you.
