I've had my 09 rabbit for almost a year and have only put the carbonio intake in. I was wondering what I should get to get max performance. What are the best headers, exhaust and if Its safe to put a turbo on it.

They do not make software for the 09s yet so no chip or turbo. I do not recommend exhaust or header unless you really want to spend money and get little performance gain.

Does the c2 turbo not work for an 09? I saw the evo header for an 09 on YouTube and it sounded great but the site says it's like 1200$ and I want some mad performance not just sound. Do you know anyone who has used this header

To use a C2 turbo properly your going to need their tune (flash software). Currently C2, apr, and so on do not have the hardware to rewrite the new siemens ECMs equipped in the 2.5L 09+ rabbit and jettas. There are a few guys with eurojet and evo tune headers floating around here and vortex. As far as gains not worth the money...come on $1200. The carbonio is perhaps the best mod for now as far as performance vs cost. A lot of the guys on here like to throw on a magnaflow exhaust bc it sounds good and is cheap like 400 using some coupon code on here but it does not do much for performance.

I have some friends that cut their cats off and ran a straight pipe and said they had noticable hp gains and some boost in torque. I don't have inspections in the state I live in do u recommend I get this done??

dont do that!!!! the cat is there for a reason, nitro will tell you the same thing. yet again you are getting more sound therefore tricking your butt dyno into thinking there is more power. if anything get on vortex, or actually i think there is a eurojet catback fs on here.

Suspension is a large part of performance...and you're in luck because there are lots of options. Perhaps a set of FK's for $700?

I figured taking them off would allow for more air flow thus producing better gains. It seems the 09 has nothing out there that's going to give me 250 hp like I want.

as of now not really, but im sure soon c2 will release a turbo for the newer models. till then like dave said go for handling parts ad urethane inserts. make the car a gocart so when you have power you wont be lacking in cornering department.

Sounds good. Where can I get good deals on those?

Has anyone seen or supercharged a rabbit before?

There is no supercharged rabbit as of yet.
