I just ordered my H&R Race Springs and should get them on monday, but after reading about the raceland coilovers by redrabbit it makes me feel stupid for ordering these. Can i return these for a refund? i bought them from tirerack. com. should i keep them? return them? help me out guys, thanks

It's up to you. I know that the Race Springs drasticly lower the car which is going to be tough on your stock shocks. Pair them up with some bilsteins and you won't have that problem.

but if i get the coilovers do i need to buy more things like the blisteins or am i good?

Coilovers are a whole. You will not need to buy bilsteins with them they come paired up with the shock. Although I've heard mixed things about Racelands I just can't justify getting 300 dollar suspension for a 15 grand car. Not to mention that if such a critical part was to fail you would have bigger troubles.

Technically for the price of them you'd have to buy 4 of them to buy a name brand coilover. If your not worried about them failing in some crazy way go for it.

96 dollars for one shock. So to get a complete (rear) set it would be $96x2

That seems like a plan, make sure you replace the "one time" use suspension parts. Once you suspension is taken apart it is advised to replace these.

VW used "one time use bolts" as in they can only be torqued down once. Once you remove them you need new bolts.
